All services provided by Gelz By Ellz (Ellie) are offered on the understanding that clients are responsible for ensuring they meet the necessary eligibility requirements before booking. This includes, but is not limited to, age restrictions, health conditions, and any contraindications relevant to nail services or tattoo procedures.
By booking an appointment, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful, and that you have disclosed any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities that may impact your service. Ellie reserves the right to refuse service at any time if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.
Results can vary depending on individual nail health, aftercare, lifestyle, skin type, and other factors outside of Ellie’s control. No specific outcome can be guaranteed. Aftercare advice will be provided, and it is the client’s responsibility to follow these instructions to ensure the best results.
All content, designs, images, and artwork on this website and related social media platforms are the intellectual property of Ellie. They must not be copied, reproduced, or used without explicit written permission.
By using this website and booking a service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that policies may be updated at any time.
Booking Fees
I do not take booking fees for regular nail clients, however if you wish to pay towards your appointment in advance please let me know. (Cancellation/no show policies still apply, you will be charged £10 if you have not paid a booking fee for your appointment.)
One-off nail appointments & new clients are required to pay a booking fee of £10 via bank transfer only.

A £20 booking fee is required for all custom tattoo appointments & a £10 booking fee for flash tattoo appointments via bank transfer only.

Your appointment is not confirmed until your booking fee is paid & you have been sent a confirmation message.
Your booking fee will be deducted from your total when you pay on the day.
Your remaining balance is to be paid cash, card or bank transfer.
Booking fees are non-refundable but transferrable to another date (unless within 48hrs of your appointment time).
If your appointment is cancelled...
...before 48hrs - your booking fee will be added to your account as credit for future bookings.
...within 48hrs - your booking fee will be lost and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
....no shows - 100% of your treatment cost will be charged.
If you do not want credit for your booking fee, it will be lost - I do not offer refunds on booking fees under any circumstances as this covers my admin & design time.
I do not offer refunds on any of my services.
I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel it is unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.
General Appointment Policies
All appointments are booked via Instagram DM or Whatsapp - please see the Contact page to get in touch.
Please arrive to your appointment on time, leaving time to find parking and walk over (see About page for my locations & parking directions).
I offer a 15 minute grace period, after this your appointment may need to be altered or cancelled to accommodate time lost.
Cancelled appointments due to this count as a no show and will be charged accordingly.
Please attend your appointment alone unless discussed with me beforehand.
I do not allow unsupervised children in the salon due to health & safety requirements.
If a guest is agreed with me, disruptions will result in your guest waiting outside.
I do not infill another nail tech’s work - if you are a new client with product already on your nails, please book a soak off with me or have them removed prior to your appointment.
I do not soak off acrylic.
Tattoo Policies
- Do not drink alcohol within 12hrs of your appointment.
- Please avoid caffeine before your appointment.
- Please make sure you eat before your appointment.
Failure to comply with these policies or a change in contraindications could result in your appointment being rescheduled or cancelled with loss of deposit.

Please do not use numbing cream for your appointment as it can interfere with the tattooing & healing processes.

Please bring a valid form of ID to your appointment - no under 18s under any circumstances.

Top-ups can only be done after 4 weeks, please do not be alarmed if you need one, fine line tattoos often need a top-up!
Top-ups are free for 6 months after your appointment (3 max during this time), after that there is a minimum £10 charge per top-up.
